Who am I?

My name is Natalie DeYoung and I dwell on creativity. I am very fond of anything that has to do with it, whether it be unique songs to special books (both two of my favorite things). Therefore when it comes to Natties, I can explore and practice that creative side of mine. I love the ability to take suggestions and transform them into business ideas, for example a recipe or a cartoon sketch.

Why did I start this?

Nattie's has been something I have worked on since 6th grade. Back then, I would sell salsa or pasta sauce I made with my dad. Those items sold well and are requested again, so perhaps you will see them in the future. The thing is, I prefered baking. After taking a Hospitality course at KCTC, I got a much better understanding of not only the culinary world but the management and all that goes on in a restaurant. Although I am an occasional grammar freak, I always spelled it as “Natties”, which is a nickname some of my family calls me. I think that missing the apostrophe simply adds some quirk.

MIX and MATCH

Because there are so many different options, choosing an arrangement of cookies is common to do. And, because of how customizable things are, you can mix and match any number of cookies, even just one that is a different flavor.
